Former X Factor contestants Union J have stripped off to say thank you to fans for sending their single to Number One.

Promising to get their kit off if their new track 'You Got It All' landed in the iTunes top five, the Union J boys had no choice but to flash the flesh after fans rewarded them with their first ever No 1.

And just as they said they would, George Shelley, Josh Cuthbert and JJ Hamblett soon gave up the goods with a half-naked snap. Swit swoo!

Sticking to their word, George, Josh and JJ - minus the band's fourth member Jaymi Hensley - showed off their buffed up bods as they stripped down to their boxers.

Sharing their revealing photo on Twitter via the official Union J account, the boys said: "AS PROMISED. Hehehehe."

George, Josh and JJ's picture comes after the band urged fans to buy their single, promising a photo full of "nakedness" if it was to land highly in this week's chart.

They tweeted: "DONT TELL MANAGEMENT. As soon as YGIA is in the top 5 on iTunes we are going to be posting a cheeky pic (nakedness) on here. Sorry mum."

Luckily for fans, they managed to secure the boys their first No 1 as Union J beat Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift to the top of the chart.

Clearly still on a high from their single's success, the boys even re-posted their half-naked snap earlier today... just in case any fans happened to miss it the first time round.

The boy band's chart success comes after they returned to The X Factor stage on Sunday night.

Heading back to where it all began, Union J no doubt spent the day reminiscing as only two years ago the group finished fourth in the 2012 series.

The four-piece joined their former fellow X Factor contestant Ella Henderson, as they both performed their latest singles live on the show.

Stereo Kicks leave The X Factor - 30 November 2014.

Following their performances, Louis Walsh's group Stereo Kicks was sent home after the judges' vote was left to deadlock.

Speaking to Reveal following their exit, the eight-piece boyband have insisted they will stay together despite losing out on their X Factor place.

Band member Chris Leonard told us: "We're staying together. We're not going anywhere. So far it's been amazing for us and we're going to stick around and do our best to come back bigger and stronger."

Who knows, Union J may find some competition on their hands!
