Elizabeth Taylor - who is an idol of Kim's - established The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation in 1991 to raise funds and awareness to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS, and to provide assistance for people affected by the virus.
Yesterday's event was held at The Abbey club in LA, which launched a special Elizabeth Taylor Cocktail for the event.
Kim is just back in Los Angeles following a whirlwind promotional tour to Australia and Dubai to promote her seventh fragrance, Fleur Fatale.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star took in both countries in just one week, attending launch parties, signings and meet and greets, as well as conducting several interviews.
A third planned stop in India was cancelled at the last minute, reportedly due to visa issues.
