We spoke to her exclusively ahead of last weekend's live shows, where she made it through to the semi-finals, and she's still counting her lucky stars that her life has transformed overnight, after being catapulted into the limelight in a matter of weeks since the show began.
It's a long way from when her mentor, and now an avid supporter, head honcho Simon, hinted that the only thing he found memorable about her, was her awesome hair.
It was the judges' houses round, where she belted out a rendition of Jessie J's Bang Bang, that knocked the socks off the usually stern-faced Simon.
"I wanted Simon to see what I was made of so I gave it absolutely everything and did myself proud," she tells us.
"I think I've slowly gained his trust. I can choose my own songs now but if it goes wrong, it's on my shoulders. And of course Simon definitely knows what he's talking about."
Stunning Fleur has brushed off several rumours that Simon has a soft spot for her, and says his partner and mother to his son Eric, Lauren Silverman, is 'funny and chilled'.
"Lauren is lovely and friendly. She's got a great sense of humour and loves the show. Her and Simon get along really well."
"Louis Tomlinson from One Direction messaged me, saying I've done very well and smashed it. That was brilliant. Especially coming from him," Fleur says.
She's also received support from former JLS star JB Gill, and 2012 X Factor winner James Arthur.
"James tweeted me to say he can see me winning, which was great coming from another winner."
So what's next for Fleur?
"It's amazing that I've been able to do this. To represent all of those people who just wanted to sing. To have success that Beyonce has would be amazing. But I'd like to do something different and be an all rounder like Michael Jackson."
