Saturdays singer Rochelle will co-host the one-off special alongside comedian Alexander Armstrong next year.
Mum-of-one Rochelle, who recently co-hosted the BBC Children In Need appeal show, said: "After hosting Children in Need this year I am really excited that BBC One has asked me back to present this brand new show celebrating such a brilliant musical legend, Frank Sinatra."
Commissioning editor Rachel Ashdown added: "Both Alexander and Rochelle know what's required to take a well-known song and make it their own, so they are well placed to support the acts in what's sure to be a tough fought contest."
Frank Sinatra: Our Way will see seven relatively unknown acts from across the UK performing their own renditions of songs made famous by legendary singer.
The winner will be chosen on the night by a panel that includes music producers, vocal coaches, musicians, songwriters and music journalists. They will be guided by a celebrity panel.
The prize up for grabs is pretty special too, as the winner will get the chance to perform at a special Sinatra centenary concert.
As well as taking to the stage as one fifth of The Saturdays, Rochelle has co-hosted This Morning with husband Marvin, and she's also a panellist on BBC Three show Sweat The Small Stuff.
