X Factor hopeful Lauren Platt may be forced to pull out of this Saturday's live show as she has reportedly been hit by the flu.

It was only last weekend that Lauren's mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini almost missed out on being at The X Factor due to falling ill, and now it seems her finalist has also caught the bug.

After apparently catching a rather nasty bout of flu, Lauren has spent most of this weekend resting up at home. And now fears are growing that instead of singing on Saturday night's live show, she could be watching it from the sofa!

Earlier this week, Lauren was forced to pull out of filming and only made it back to rehearsals yesterday. But, feeling poorly and under prepared, it's not certain if Lauren will take to the stage on Saturday.

A source has told The Sun: "Lauren has been really ill. We had to cancel an entire day of filming so she could got to bed. It has been very stressful for her.

"At the moment she is determined to sing tomorrow regardless and no one wants to tell her otherwise. But, the truth is that it is very much up in the air."

Wanting to perform, the 17-year-old is said to be devastated at the thought of not singing - even though her illness could impact on her performance.

And, as she's Cheryl's last remaining act in the competition, we're pretty sure the X Factor judge won't be taking any risks with Lauren.

Fingers crossed she'll be alright on the night!

Meanwhile, the other four finalists have been busy practicing their performances for X Factor's Jukebox themed show on Saturday night.

This week, the Jukebox theme has meant the public have picked each finalist's song choice, instead of their mentor.

While Lauren - if she does perform - will be singing Swedish House Mafia's 'Don't You Worry Child', Ben Haenow will sing Ed Sheeran's 'Thinking Out Loud', Fleur East will take on 'If I Ain't Got You' by Alicia Keys, Andrea Faustini will sing Mariah Carey's 'Hero' and boyband Stereo Kicks will perform 'Run' by Snow Patrol.

As well as their Jukebox song, each finalist will perform a second number on the night.

Last week, Stevi Ritchie and Only The Young were sent home from The X Factor in a double elimination.
