The rapper is currently among the contestants secluded in the Australian jungle... and it seems we have his blogger partner Helen Haben to thank for that!
Helen told The Mirror that when producers approached Tinchy with the idea he "wasn't 100 per cent sure about taking part" because he prefers to keep his personal life out of the spotlight.
"He's a very private person and doesn't like the idea of everyone seeing him 24/7 - he wants to be more in control of what he shares with people. Now he's in there, there's nowhere to hide," said Helen.
She explained that she was the one who encouraged Tinchy to agree to the show.
"I told him no ifs or buts, you have to go in there," she said. "These days the public wants to know a celebrity inside and out and this is a good way for Tinchy to show who he is and how caring he is."
Helen has been with Tinchy since 2011 and says she's hoping the public can now see what a "loving" person he is.
"He's always putting other people first and would do absolutely anything for the people who are close to him. I hope the audience get to see the real him. He's amazing, that's why we've been together for three years."
On her official website, gorgeous Helen added: "He's doing SO good in the jungle and I'm so proud of him! This is so out of his comfort zone (pretty sure his camp mates feel the same) and I think he's doing really well! He's such a private person so this is a HUGE step for him."
I'm A Celebrity kicked off two weekends ago with ten celebrities arriving in the Aussie jungle with the hopes of being crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
Tinchy has been voted to do one Bush Tucker Trial to date and has struck up a bromance with newsreader and journalist Michael Buerk.
So far, the eliminations haven't started, but we have said goodbye to two contestants.
TOWIE star Gemma Collins chose to quit after finding jungle conditions tough, while Coronation Street actor Craig Charles withdraw following the sudden death of his brother.
I'm A Celebrity airs nightly on ITV.
