Strictly Come Dancing's Mark Wright may be on the Isle of Fernandos, but he's still making sure to practice his dance moves.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Take Me Out The Gossip would be back for another series, and wasting no time in getting started, Mark has already made his way to the dating show's famous Isle of Fernandos!

But, despite being surrounded by sun, sand and sea, Mark is making sure he keeps his fancy footwork in check.

For some lucky couples, Fernandos is where the magic happens and it seems Mark is after letting the island work its magic on him too.

Although not in the romance department, obvs.

Hoping to nail his routine in time for next week's live performance, the former TOWIE star has been putting in the hours while away on his working hols.

Taking to Twitter earlier, Mark shared a photo of his beach view, along with the tweet: "Just chilling with a cold beer in the Isle of Fernandos !! 1 hour break and back to work, then it's dance time."

Oh, Karen Haeur - Mark's dance partner - will be proud!

Over the weekend, Mark secured his place in the competition with an impressive performance of the Tango.

Commended by the judges, Darcey Bussell told the Heart FM DJ he danced with conviction, while Bruno Tonioli said Mark's dancing was getting better week in week out.

Ahead of his performance, Mark was treated to a pre-show visit from his gorgeous fiancée Michelle Keegan.

Calling Michelle his "lucky charm", having her in the audience seemed to work in Mark's favour as not only did he score a high end score of 32, he sailed through to next week's show.

Meanwhile, Steve Backshall was the eighth celebrity to be voted out of Strictly.

Joined by Sunetra Sarker in the bottom two, Steve was sent home following the dance-off after the judges decided Sunetra had the cleanest performance on the night.

Strictly continues this Saturday (29 November) at 7pm on BBC One.
