Tamera, 17, finished in fifth place on last year's series of The X Factor and she has spent 2014 beavering away and writing her debut album.
In a tweet to fans today, the teenage singer - who is signed to Simon Cowell's label Syco - explained that she wants to give them "the best", hence the delay in getting her music out.
Tamera revealed: "Message to all of my fans! Thank you for being so patient, I'm taking my time so I can give you the best! I won't let you down...2015."
She then added: "I feel so grateful to have such wonderful, faithful and supportive fans! You guys truly are my second family! I Love you - 2015 is ours!"
Tamera was in Nicole Scherzinger's Girls group on The X Factor last year and was eliminated in week eight. The star lost out on a place in the semi-final to Luke Friend after the vote went to 'deadlock'.
In March, Tamera confirmed she had signed a record deal with Syco, and announced the news on Twitter.
Speaking at the time, she said: "So guys, I have news. I'm the newest member of Syco music!! Get that work! I'm so blessed to have my dream job at the age of 17. Thank God always."
