Ahead of Fergie's debut performance of her new track 'L.A. Love (La La)', proud hubbie Josh couldn't help but gush about his wife to the crowd.
Telling the audience that not only was Fergie a musical superstar, the Safe Haven actor said she also makes "really cute" babies too!
Addressing the crowd, Josh - who shares one-year-old son Axl with Fergie - said: "She also makes really cute babies, my favourite Cali Girl, Miss Fergie Ferg!"
Following her introduction, Fergie then appeared on stage flashing her pins and her derrière in a sequinned Jean Paul Gaultier leotard.
Looking like she was loving every minute of her return to the stage, Fergie entertained the crowd with a fun-loving performance of her new track.
Ahead of her number, the 'Big Girls Don't Cry' singer had tweeted: "Get ready for a ride on the #LALOVEBUS as #LALOVE takes over the @TheAMAs stage TONIGHT on ABC! #AMAs."
Prior to her performance, Fergie looked absolutely in-cred-ible as she turned up the glam on the red carpet.
Oozing elegance on arrival to the awards, the mum-of-one opted for a floor-length black gown featuring a daring thigh-high split and metallic detailing.
She teamed her dress with a gorgeous pair of gladiator inspired heels and wore her blond locks over to the side, slightly curling the ends.
Speaking on the red carpet, Fergie said it was "really great to be back" after taking some time out of the music industry to concentrate on being a mum.
When asked how she was getting on with her little one, the 39-year-old said: "Motherhood is amazing. I had no idea it would be so fun."
Other stars joining Fergie at the AMAs included the likes of Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Lorde, One Direction, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora and X Factor star Ella Henderson.
