Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing have been slammed for taking a £6,000 appearance fee - then leaving a charity event early to go clubbing.

Spencer and Jamie were each paid £3,000 to appear at the black-tie evening, in return for promoting the Harry Cunningham Trust, but reportedly turned up to the bash in Devon 'drunk' before heading off after just one hour.

Spencer and Jamie are believed to have travelled to the event first class

The charity was set up following the death of Harry Cunningham, who passed away aged one-day-old from a blood vessel problem. Harry's family are now campaigning to get the condition checked for at 20-week scans.

Harry's mum and charity founder Niki Cunningham, 31, told The Sun: "We feel disgusted they took our money like that.

"They didn't care at all what they were there for. They just took the cash and b*ggered off."

When contacted by the newspaper, Spencer's rep said the reality star "wasn't aware" it was a charity event, adding that he would pay the money back.

Jamie's rep was unavailable, however the star himself has taken to Twitter and told fans: "I wouldn't believe everything you read."

Spencer has starred in Made In Chelsea ever since the E4 reality show began in 2011. Jamie, meanwhile, first appeared in the second series.

Since the event, which was also attended by Coronation Street's Kym Marsh, former Hollyoaks star Ashley Taylor Dawson and ex X Factor contestant Luke Friend, Jamie has flown to Los Angeles for a holiday.
