TOWIE star Gemma left the camp on Wednesday morning after just three days, and viewers were able to see the build up ahead of her departure during last night's show.
Irish model Nadia spent her initial days in the jungle with Gemma, with the two having to sleep in uncomfortable surroundings in the Celebrity Slammer.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph today, Nadia said: "I'm sad that Gemma left. From a personal point of being her friend in there I'll miss her humour. And the way she says things, she doesn't even mean to be as funny as she is."
In her three days on the show, viewers watched Gemma complain that she couldn't handle the jungle surroundings, and Nadia was often seen comforting the emotional reality star.
Nadia, who is now in the main Croc Creek camp with the rest of the celebrities, said the Celebrity Slammer was an "awful" experience.
"I didn't really know what the slammer meant, so I don't think what was happening to me really set home until I was in the slammer and hating every single moment of it," said Nadia. "When we got in, it was just bugs everywhere, all over. It was awful. I'm so happy to be in the new camp."
During last night's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here Now!, Gemma spoke about her decision to leave, saying the experience caused her "trauma".
Gemma also said that her time on the show "will haunt me for the rest of my life".
Following Gemma's exit, Craig Charles decided to leave the show after the sudden death of his brother. ITV have also confirmed that X Factor's Jake Quickenden and former MP Edwina Currie will be entering the jungle tonight.
