It emerged earlier today that TOWIE star Gemma had sensationally quit I'm A Celebrity after just three days in the jungle and tonight her exit was aired on ITV.
After escaping the Jungle Jail, Gemma was seen lying in her hammock in tears in the normal camp. "I feel so sick and panicky," she told Jimmy Bullard, as he tried to comfort her.
"This is hell. It is hell," she muttered.
Later, she went to the Bush Telegraph and uttered those famous words: "I'm a celebrity... get me out of here!"
"Do you know what? I don't want any of this," she said. "I just don't want to have to put myself through such extreme measures all the time. I just want to be normal. I'm sorry to let anyone down or cause any agg, but I have to look after number one. I can't do it. I have to go. I have to start living my life the way I want to live it and this is not it."
"I just want to be me," she added. "I don't need to sit in the jungle for three weeks and play up to the cameras. I'm tired of it and just want to be me.
Despite only lasting three days, she said: "This has probably been the most life changing thing I've done and the best thing I could have done for myself."
Breaking the news to her campmates, she said: "This is a personal decision I've had to make but it's the right one for me. I have to go with that. I'm so out of my comfort zone it's made me realise who the girl I always was [is]. I have become a character and puppet of Gemma. That is not the real me.
"No amount of money would keep me here. I have had to make the right decision and do you know what? I feel so amazing and strong and me. I will never regret this. I believe this is the start of me now and nothing will change that."
Michael Buerk, however, questioned what she meant by that and suggested she may have to change her entire lifestyle if she wants to be someone different.
"Really changing her life might mean changing her fame, wealth and all the trappings of being a reality TV star. I think she has an awful lot of decisions to make in the weeks to come."
Gemma was seen hugging all her campmates goodbye - ensuring she still had Kendra Wilkinson's invite to visit the Playboy Mansion! - and walking out of the jungle.
She isn't the only star to walk out of the jungle. In past series of the show, we've watched the likes of Katie Price, Danniella Westbrook, Brian Harvey and Natalie Appleton leave.
