Last month, Jake was eliminated from The X Factor after finding himself in the sing-off but he's picked himself up, dusted himself off and flown to Australia!
After his elimination, Jake, 26, spoke about how he would love to appear on I'm A Celeb, so being given the chance to appear on this year's series is a dream come true.
Speaking ahead of his time in the jungle, Jake said: "Things like this don't happen to me. I am just a normal bloke.
"It's such an amazing show - I said 'yes' straight away.
"I used to watch it with my older brother and we both said we'd love to do it one day. It's a real adventure and it is going to be so much fun."
Jake admits he isn't scared of heights or water, although he's not the biggest fan of rats. His biggest worry is the lack of food in the camp.
"I was eating like a horse when I left the X Factor house and so I am going to really miss my food," he admitted.
"I had no time to prepare for the experience beforehand and I know I probably will go a bit mad on no food, but I am not going to complain. I am so happy to be part of this."
Jake will be entering the camp as a latecomer with former MP Edwina Currie.
But what will his X Factor mentor Mel B make of his jungle stint - not to mention Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Louis Walsh?!
"I am sure they will have a little giggle," Jake said. "It will be pretty funny. At the end of the day I am not doing anything wrong.
"I really have landed on my feet and it is so nice. If I hadn't left the X Factor, I probably would not have been offered this. Doing I'm A Celebrity could open up so many different doors."
