X Factor finalists Stereo Kicks have reached a milestone today - 100 days of being in a boyband.

100 days already?!

Marking the occasion, the boys have taken to Twitter to celebrate their X Factor success so far and thank their fans.

The eight boys - Charlie Jones, Tom Mann, James Graham, Casey Johnson, Jake Sims, Chris Leonard, Reece Bibby and Barclay Beales - were put together during the bootcamp stage of the competition. Now fast forward 100 days and Stereo Kicks have become serious contenders for the X Factor title.

Tweeting from the official Stereo Kicks account, the youngest of the group Charlie, 14, shared a picture of himself and his bandmates - before their glam X Factor makeovers - outside Wembley Stadium after just being put together.

Captioning his photo, he said: "100 days today! Love you boys - Charlie."

Sharing his own thanks, Jake tweeted: "This really is only just the start. thank-you to anyone that is here now!! love these 7 other weirdos #100DaysOfStereoKicks."

While Reece said: "Feels like yesterday! Couldn't imagine doing anything else right now other than performing with my 7 brothers #100daysofstereokicks -Reece."

And, having already built up quite the fan base, it was no surprise the congratulatory messages came flooding in thick and fast after the boys shared their tweets.

Stereo Kicks' milestone comes after the boyband successfully made it through another week on The X Factor.

Despite Stereo Kicks having to deal with a song change just 24 hours before their live performance, the eight piece still managed to impress the judges with their rendition of 'Mack The Knife'.

While Cheryl Fernandez-Versini applauded the boys for dealing with their song choice well, Simon said he thought the band's vocals were great on the night.

Meanwhile, Jay James lost out on his place in the competition after the judges' vote was left to deadlock.

In the bottom two with his fellow overs act Stevi Ritchie, Jay was sent home after it was revealed he had received the fewest public votes.

Following his exit, Jay exclusively told Reveal he felt like it was his time to go.

"Naturally I was gutted to be going," he said. "But, I felt it was sort of my time in a way."

Stevi, however, will join the other remaining finalists to sing in this weekend's live show, taking on songs from Whitney Houston and Elton John.
