Kim Kardashian West has said she didn't bring baby North with her to Australia as there would be too much travelling involved for a young child.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star touched down in Sydney at the weekend to begin a whirlwind promotional tour for her new perfume, Fleur Fatale, which will take in visits to Oz, Dubai and India.

Kim told Twitter followers that she left North behind the States with Kanye West as she didn't think so much travelling was fair to the one-year-old.

"Missing my baby girl so bad already!" said Kim. "Was going to bring her but three countries in a week is too much travelling. Daddy time will be much better."

Kim's been keeping her daughter close to her heart, however, by looking up recent paparazzi pictures of the pair together.

Posting an image taken from Kourtney's baby shower last week, where she was seen fussing over North's clothing, the star tweeted: "Helping my little lady out...just staring at pics of her and missing her."

Kim will enter the house on 22 November.
