At least not for a good while, anyway!
When quizzed over 1D's plans to get to work on their fifth album, Louis admitted he wasn't sure if new music would be on the cards.
Speaking to the Metro, Louis revealed he and the rest of the band - Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik - needed to get together to discuss if making another album was plausible.
He said: "I think we are planning on having a conversation... about if we are going to do another album."
Remaining vague about the band's future plans, Louis added: "'And if we are, we might take a little more time over it."
We're not so sure that's what all the Direction'ers out there want to hear!
Louis' comments come after One Direction have just released their fourth album, Four.
Busy promoting their latest music, it seems the 1D boys are putting recording new material on the back burner for now, especially as they are set to head off on tour again next year.
But, despite worries the band may be splitting, Louis has reassured fans One Direction are "still loving" every minute of being in the band.
"We're still a band," Louis insisted. "We're completely set on what we are doing."
Phew. That's a relief!
