Rylan Clark made his X Factor return earlier today.

But, before you all get too excited, Rylan was at the studios for presenting duties only and sadly won't be gracing the stage!

Now that we would have loved to have seen...

Rylan and Louis reunite and share a hug.

The 26-year-old made a name for himself on the X Factor back in 2012. Mentored by Nicole Sherzinger, Rylan finished in fifth place, but won over the nation with his lovable character.

And, today the now TV presenter headed back to where it all began to reunite with judge Louis Walsh and grill the show's latest contestants for This Morning.

Although, he couldn't help but feel a little nostalgic...

Taking to Twitter, Rylan tweeted: "So backstage @TheXFactor today for @itvthismorning... Always a strange feeling being back..."

We bet!

One person who was happy to see him was X Factor's in-house choreographer Brian Friedman.

Sharing a selfie of himself and Rylan, Brian told his followers he had missed the Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side host.

Captioning his photo, he said: "Look who stopped by work today! I miss his energy here x @rylanclark @thexfactoruk."

Meanwhile, Brian has recently revealed who he thinks has the potential to be crowned the X Factor winner this series.

His answer? Fleur East.

Revealing he thinks Simon's act has the most potential in the competition, Brian said he thinks Fleur is a "stand out star".

This weekend, Fleur and the other remaining finalists take on Big Band week as they battle it out to keep their place in the competition.

The X Factor continues this Saturday and Sunday (15-16 November) on ITV.
