Gemma, who will make her jungle debut this Sunday (17 November) is said to have filmed the video on a a mobile phone for an ex-boyfriend and is concerned it may have got into the wrong hands.
A source told the Daily Star: "Gemma is beside herself with worry that this might get out. The last thing she wants is a private recording of her bedroom antics being put on the net for everyone to see."
Gemma's rep told the newspaper: "This is a private matter."
TOWIE star Gemma flew out to Australia earlier this week and will be joining nine other famous faces as they enter the jungle, close to Brisbane, this weekend.
Although it means she has to face her fears of claustophobia and creepy crawlies, the trip Down Under may actually come as a welcome break to the former car saleswoman.
Earlier this week, it was also reported that Gemma had been forced to call the police to her house in Essex amid allegations her current boyfriend 'had attacked her'.
In August, Gemma rekindled her romance with former fling Alexander Moss, who had recently been released from prison after serving a five-and-a-half year jail term supplying cocaine, and they had apparently had a heated row.
Gemma's spokesperson confirmed the reports toReveal.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday night, TOWIE fans watched as Gemma made a subtle exit from the reality show that made her a household name.
After patching up her differences with Ferne McCann, the usually bubbly star was seen disappearing into the night following Bobby Norris' charity gala, which was held to raise money for the charity Antony Nolan.
However, Gemma has assured fans that she will be returning to TOWIE despite missing the forthcoming Christmas special due to her jungle commitments.
