Strictly Come Dancing star Frankie Bridge had husband Wayne on hand to settle her nerves as she arrived in Blackpool last night.

Joined by a whole host of her fellow Strictly stars, Frankie arrived up North ahead of her live performance in front of the nation from Blackpool Tower's famous ballroom this weekend.

And, proving she doesn't mind an audience, the Saturdays singer was more than happy to pucker up with her hubbie in front of her pals.

With her number one supporter (and bag carrier!) in tow, Frankie had brought husband Wayne - who she married back in July - along with her for her weekend in Blackpool. Although it seems their one-year-old son Parker wasn't with them and won't be joining in on the fun.

Pleased to have her other half by her side, Frankie couldn't resist stealing a kiss from Wayne as they arrived with the rest of the gang - including Mark Wright and dancing pro Karen Haeur - at Preston Station yesterday evening.

The mum-of-one made sure to travel in style and, despite the long train journey, looked absolutely gorgeous in a pair of acid wash grey skinny jeans, colorful knitwear and very cool pair of studded boots.

Flashing a smile as she made her way through the station, Frankie was clearly excited for the weekend of dancing ahead and it wasn't long before she took to Twitter to tell her followers she had arrived.

Along with posting multiple emojis of a dancer, Frankie tweeted: "In Blackpool!!!!!!!!!!!!" and on seeing her tweet, many fans were quick to wish the star luck for her performance on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, a very chilly-looking Pixie Lott and Caroline Flack arrived in Blackpool earlier on in the day, before the rest of their Strictly crew - no doubt hoping to squeeze in as much rehearsal time as they can get.

Caroline, who found herself in the bottom two last weekend, narrowly avoided being sent home from the competition after the judging panel opted to save her instead of This Morning presenter, Alison Hammond.

Failing to impress the judges, Alison was the sixth celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing and has sadly missed out on the chance to perform in Blackpool.

Speaking after her exit, Alison said: "I'm really devastated that I don't get to go to Blackpool because that's like the creme de la creme! But it's one of those things isn't it, someone had to go and it had to be me."

Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday and Sunday (15-16 November) on BBC One.
