TOWIE's Bobby Norris has been left "overwhelmed" by the support of his co-stars following last night's series finale.

Bobby's closest friends came together to support his charity gala in Essex to raise money for the UK's blood cancer charity and bone marrow register, Anthony Nolan.

Bobby was in tears as he stood on stage to explain the importance of the fundraiser.

Back in August, Bobby shared the devastating news that his mother Kym has been diagnosed with leukaemia.

And in last night's episode (12 November), viewers saw the likes of Vas J Morgan, James 'Lockie' Lock and Billie Faiers join the star to raise money.

Using his famous connections, Vas offered the chance for one lucky person to meet Lindsay Lohan while she's in London for her West End performance in Speed-the-Plow.

And the prize was won by James, who joked that he was going to unleash his "Dagenham charm" on her.

Courtesy of Mario Falcone's brother-in-law Tom Fletcher, Billie won a pair of tickets to McBusted's tour. Meanwhile, Ferne McCann put a one-off painting in the raffle, which was also won by James.

To end the successful night, with the help of Dan Osborne, James rounded up all the boys to perform a strip tease... Full Monty style!

Taking to Twitter after the show, Bobby said: "Emotional #TOWIE finale for me tonight. Overwhelmed by the love and support from those around me, thank you x."

Co-star Georgia Kousoulou said: "How strong is our amazing @BobbyCNorris??? We all love you so much & all so proud of you!"

Meanwhile, former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, tweeted: "Well said @BobbyCNorris your mum must be so proud of you!"

Bobby hopes that by sharing his mum's story he can encourage people to sign up for the bone marrow register, as he's been told that a bone marrow transplant is the "best hope" for his mum.
