Comedian Jack Whitehall may be used to entertaining thousands, but he was brought back down to earth recently thanks to Children in Need!

TV funnyman Jack agreed to do a day's work experience at a branch of B&Q and spent his time stacking shelves and chatting to customers.

Jack, 26, was even let loose behind the checkout!

B&Q have produced a limited edition Pudsey paw print apron to raise funds for this year's CiN appeal and we were pleased to see Jack sporting one during his shift in Wandsworth, London.

In fact, proving what a good sport he is, the star also donned a pair of Pudsey ears and attempted to flog other CiD merchandise to customers who had popped in for DIY items!

Children in Need takes place this Friday (14 November) from 7pm on BBC One and the evening will feature a whole host of celebrities doing their bit to raise money for the worthwhile cause.

It will be a big night for The Saturdays' Rochelle Humes, as she has joined the presenting lineup this year, and Gareth Malone and the Children in Need All Star Choir will be performing their single 'Wake Me Up', which is heading straight for a No 1!

Purchase your own iconic BBC Children in Need apron (RRP. £7.00) at www.diy.com/Pudsey or pop into your local store.
