The boutique owner and reality star is among the ten celebrities who will enter the Australian jungle on Sunday night, when the 14th series of the ITV show begins.
Gemma says: "Every time I think about going in the jungle, I get very, very nervous. I get stomach cramps,
"I feel sick. Even talking about it scares me. I am used to reality TV but this is the unknown. I don't know what is going to happen. But the one good thing about going in the jungle is I will hopefully lose some weight!"
Gem admits she's terrifying of spiders, snakes and pretty much all animals. She hates heights. She doesn't like enclosed spaces. And she's pretty nervous about being hungry.
Sounds like she's on the wrong show, right?
Gem adds: "When they said you would be starving, I thought it was a joke. I thought they would give you a can of Diet Coke or a mini Mars Bar to keep the sugar up but they don't. I do like a drink too and so this is going to be a very different experience for me."
But we reckon Gemma's going to do great in the jungle even when it comes to facing her fears. After all, remember her fear of heights before competing on ITV diving show Splash!? And look how well she did!
"You are stuck in a jungle, it's dark at night and you have to use a dodgy toilet too! This is all completely out of my comfort zone.
"I do, however, believe you have to grow in life. It's not good to stay in the same place for too long and it's good to have a laugh and have some fun."
I'm A Celebrity begins Sunday 16 November at 9pm on ITV
