The X Factor's Lauren Platt was all smiles when she got her stomach pierced recently...but it's not looking that great now. Ouch!

Last month, Lauren and fellow X Factor contestant Fleur East celebrated making it through the second week of live shows by having new piercings done at a tattoo parlour on London's Portobello Road.

Fleur opted for a double whammy in the top of her ear, while Lauren had a body bar added to her stomach, just above her hip bone.

However, stepping out in a crop top earlier today, it appears Lauren has had a rethink and removed the painful looking piercing...

Lauren was snapped on her way to rehearsals and showed off her trim waist in a checked, short tee teamed with a pair of dark green cargo pants and silver pumps.

Noticeably absent was her newest piece of body jewellery and, where it once sparkled, Lauren displayed a purple looking scar. It's probably for the best she's taken it out, as that looks sore!

After making it through Sunday night's results episode, despite battling tonsillitis, Lauren is now gearing up for this weekend's 'Big Band' themed show on Saturday.

Last night, however, the hopeful took time out of rehearsals and joined her fellow X Factor co-stars, including Stereo Kicks, at the Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 premiere.

The event was held at the Odeon in London's Leicester Square and Lauren looked gorgeous in a short black and blue mosaic dress, which she teamed with a chunky pair of black heels.

No doubt the glitzy premiere and all the flashbulbs gave Lauren and the rest of contestants a taste of what's to come if they make it all the way!
