Last night (9 November), viewers watched Alison become the sixth celebrity to be voted off the BBC dance show after ending up in the bottom two with Caroline Flack.
Alison and her professional dance partner Aljaž Skorjanec failed to win over the judges, who unanimously voted to save Caroline and her partner Pasha Kovalev.
Alison's exit meant she just missed out on a place in next week's Blackpool extravaganza.
Speaking earlier today on This Morning (9 November), Alison said: "Oh its one of those things... I just got booted off, I knew as soon as I was up against Caroline, that was it. It was my time. But I had such a brilliant time, honestly.
"I feel a little bit disappointed - and it feels a little bit like if I've broken up with my boyfriend! I've had this seven week relationship and it's all over. I'm going to really miss it."
Speaking about missing out on Blackpool, Alison said: "I've had such a great time, I've toned up the legs, they're looking great - I've just had a ball.
"And I'm really devastated that I don't get to go to Blackpool because that's like the creme de la creme! But it's one of those things isn't it, someone had to go and it had to be me didn't it."
Even though she's out of the competition, Alison will said she will "definitely" continue to dance: "You know what I'm like, I dance everywhere anyway! But I really did get a bug for it.... I'm going to carry on without a doubt."
Strictly Come Dancing will be heading to Blackpool next next Saturday 15 November at 7pm. The results show will air on Sunday 16 November at 7.15pm on BBC One.
