Pregnant Kate Middleton went from smiling in powder blue to sombre in black as she attended to her official duties this weekend.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who is expecting her second child with husband Prince William, showed off her growing baby bump during public appearances on both Saturday and Sunday.

Kate, 32, showed no signs of the debilitating sickness that affected her at the early stages of her pregnancy.

On Sunday (9 November), she joined the rest of the country as we remembered fallen soldiers from the armed services.

Wearing black as a mark of respect, Kate attended the Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph Whitehall, London.

On the Foreign Office balcony, she stood beside the Duchess of Cornwall and the Countess of Wessex.

Wearing a red poppy on her lapel, Kate's baby bump could just be seen underneath her double-breasted black coat.

The day before, Kate had smiled for the cameras as she'd visited an oil refinery with her husband.

The royal couple visited the Valero Pembroke Refinery in Wales to mark the 50th anniversary of its opening.

This time wearing a light blue coat, Kate posed for pictures while holding a protective hand on her tiny tum.

She is due to make two more public appearances this week - the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium on Thursday, and a reception for her charity Place2Be.

In September, Clarence House confirmed that Kate and William are expecting their second child. They are already parents to one-year-old son, Prince George.

Shortly after, it was revealed that she was suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Kate suffered with the same condition when she was pregnant with Prince George in late 2012.

In an official statement released by Kensington Palace, it was confirmed that Kate and William are expecting their new arrival in April next year.
