When questioned about Nadine's comments during an interview with Attitude magazine, The X Factor judge replied with, "What d'you want us to say? She's full of s**t."
The popular British girl group reformed in 2012 after taking a hiatus to pursue solo projects.
They released their second greatest hits compilation and embarked on a UK tour, but announced they were parting ways for good during their final show.
Nadine has since said that she had no idea that Cheryl and fellow group members Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh had decided call time on the group and only discovered the truth 20 minutes before they due to go on stage for the last time.
But Cheryl strongly disputes this, and claims that Girls Aloud only took a break in the first place because Nadine wanted to go solo.
"She was the one who wanted to make a solo record. Which is why we took the hiatus," added Cheryl.
"OK, so do you want us to tell the truth? She wasn't going to make another Girls Aloud record until she got a solo deal. I feel she held us to ransom and then made her solo record deal."
Nadine, who gave birth to daughter Anaiya in February, hasn't responded to Cheryl's attack, but we're guessing that the chances of a Girls Aloud reunion are pretty slim!
Thankfully Cheryl is on better terms with the other Girls Alouders, and is due to reunite with Sarah when she appears on X Factor's spin-off show The Xtra Factor this weekend.
