Former X Factor judge Sharon announced the news this afternoon on ITV panel show Loose Women, saying the famous clan will return for "no more than eight episodes" next year.
"Ozzy has decided he wants to do another few episodes, not a whole season about eight episodes of The Osbournes," Sharon revealed. "He said for the whole three years that we did it he was drunk the whole time, so he said he would like to do one when he's completely sober as he is now, so we're like yes!"
Sharon and Ozzy starred in the groundbreaking show alongside two of their children, Kelly and Jack, from 2002 to 2005.
And Sharon confirmed that 30-year-old Kelly and 28-year-old Jack will make an appearance when filming kicks off in January.
"They'll come in and out," she revealed. "Our lives have changed so much, it's a kind of catch up, it's like what they're doing now. As I say it's not forever. No more than eight episodes."
The Osbournes was an instant hit, airing for four seasons on MTV. It focused around the life of rocker Ozzy and the family's daily antics, struggles and triumphs in southern California.
On 5 March this year, the family celebrated 12 years since the first episode aired in the US, and Fashion Police co-host Kelly thanked fans for their support as she reflected on her journey since filming the show.
Last October, Jack also hinted that his family had discussed the possibility of returning to the TV screen someday.
He told Access Hollywood Live: "It's been thrown around a little bit. It's just a different vibe. We don't all live together anymore, we all kind of have our own things going on. So it's a different dynamic."
Despite the Osbourne family embracing the limelight, Sharon and Ozzy's daughter Aimee chose not to appear on the show and she still maintains a low public profile today.
