In the book, the 37-year-old singer shares her story from her days as a prison officer, to starring on The X Factor, winning the show and releasing her debut album.

Last week, Sam told fans that she is suffering from Bell's Palsy, which is paralysis of the muscles in one side of the face.

Speaking on BBC Breakfast yesterday morning, Sam explained that she isn't going to let the illness stop her from working.

The mum-of-three said: "I had a pain behind my ear and I went to the doctors. I couldn't blink my eye and then they told me that I had Bell's Palsy. I thought, 'You know what, it's not going to stop me'. I don't want anything to stop me from working.

"'I've got a mild case of it," she continued. "It doesn't affect my singing, it just makes me smile funny at the side of my mouth and I kind of look like Elvis at the minute."

'Skyscraper' singer Sam welcomed her third child, daughter Miley, on 10 September with husband Craig Pearson. The couple are already parents to son Tommy and daughter Brooke.
