The X Factor judge had been picked to switch on the famous festive lights on Oxford Street and clearly took great pleasure in her important role.
Wrapped up warm in a fitted coat with gold buttons and a smart belt, Cheryl was all smiles as she pressed the button to illuminate the display.
Cheryl was joined on stage by Capital FM presenters Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon and together they entertained the crowd of thousands.
Meanwhile, it is a big weekend for Cheryl, as she has just one act remaining in this year's X Factor. Last week, Cheryl waved goodbye to Lola Saunders, after the vote went to deadlock.
Previously, Chloe-Jasmine Whichello and Stephanie Nala had also left the competition.
The theme for this week is Queen versus Michael Jackson, after X Factor bosses pulled the plug on the original Disco idea.
No doubt Cheryl has pulled out all the stops for Lauren Platt, as she's not going to want to see her leave too!
