Not only did the band impress the X Factor judging panel with their performance on Saturday night, but they also got to meet the world's biggest boyband One Direction.
As rehearsals got underway today, Only The Young - made up of Charlie, Betsy, Parisa and Mikey - were all smiles as they headed inside the studios and it's no surprise following the weekend they have had.
After narrowly avoiding being sent home from the X Factor recently, Louis Walsh's finalists had a lot to prove going into their Halloween-themed performance on Saturday night.
And, luckily for the four piece... the judges thought they smashed it!
Taking to the stage, Only The Young sang their rendition of 'Monster Mash' and managed to impress the judges with their creative, fun-loving performance.
While Mel B told the group they had done a "great job" this week, Simon Cowell said it was the first time he has seen Only The Young for the group they really are.
Luckily, the viewers at home thought the same and Only The Young sailed through to next week's Queen versus Michael Jackson themed live show.
But, if that wasn't enough to put them on a high, Only The Young then met the 1D boys!
Taking to the X Factor stage themselves, One Direction pre-recorded their performance of new single 'Steal My Girl' to be shown on next weekend's results show.
Seeing the boys backstage, Charlie, Parisa, Betsy and Mikey couldn't resist stopping for a photo with them - and no doubt, picking up a few tips too.
As well as posing alongside 1D's Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, Parisa and Betsy managed to steal Niall away for a cheeky snap, just the three of them.
Alongside their photo, the girls tweeted: "PETSY and the @NiallOfficial..."
So not fair.
While Only The Young were celebrating keeping their place in the competition, the same sadly couldn't be said for Lola Saunders and Jack Walton.
This weekend, Simon shocked the finalists as he announced there would be a double elimination and on Saturday night Jack Walton was immediately sent home from the show after receiving the fewest public votes.
The second contestant to be voted out of the show was 20-year-old Lola. Following her sing off with boyband Stereo Kicks, Lola was eliminated after the judges' votes went to deadlock.
The X Factor continues this Saturday and Sunday (8 and 9 November) at 8pm on ITV.
