This year's contestants were pictured arriving at the studios in London yesterday afternoon (3 November) and, hot on their tails, was the UK-born soul star.
Seal, 51, was snapped heading into the building, however he appeared to be dressed for a session in the gym rather than a stint behind the microphone.
Perhaps the gang have a new personal trainer?!
It's definitely a surprise to see Seal at the X Factor rehearsals, as he was quoted in 2009 saying that he felt contestants on the show were more interested in fame than a singing career.
According to the Daily Star, he said: "It's good entertainment but I question sometimes whether it's the best thing for our industry.
"When I started of course I wanted to be successful but I didn't want to be famous.
"I don't know if winners of shows like The X Factor really want to be successful. What I see is an incredible drive to be famous."
This weekend, the contestants will be taking on hits from either Michael Jackson or Queen after the original Disco Fever theme was ditched at the last minute.
The ITV1 show's executive producer, Mark Sidaway, tweeted: "Just leaving a song meeting with all the judges. Okay, hold into your hats, we may have a theme change."
Minutes later, Mark confirmed: "Disco just died. We've a new theme coming..."
It seems bosses are intent on mixing things up this series, as last week Simon Cowell announced a last minute double eviction, which resulted in both Jack Walton and Lola Saunders leaving the show.
Things are definitely hotting up!
