Ben and Lola visited their local corner shop together on Friday evening and he was seen planting a kiss on her forehead as they waited to pay the cashier.
The pair are, however, both in relationships and are just said to be good friends.
Last night, Lola was sent home from The X Factor after finding herself in the sing-off with eight-piece boy band Stereo Kicks.
As it was a split vote between the judges, the result went to 'deadlock' and it was revealed Lola had received the fewest public votes.
Lola has not addressed her departure with fans on Twitter and her last message was posted shortly before she discovered her fate.
She said: "Really want to get through to next week! It's so tense! Hope we make it! X."
Meanwhile, Lola wasn't the only contestant to be sent packing this weekend. Jack Walton was also chopped on Saturday night in a double eviction twist.
The singer was told he had received the fewest public votes and was eliminated immediately, without a sing off.
X Factor boss Simon Cowell announced the double eviction last week, telling the contestants it was not a "gimmick" and had been put in place to spur them on.
