Singer Tom revealed today that he has spoken to Lindsay and that he and the rest of the group - who recently disbanded - wish her well on her continued road to recovery.
Speaking to The Sun, Tom said: "I chatted to her a couple of days ago...She's had a rough time but she's a sweet girl and a great actress.
"None of us want to see her go back to that dark place."
Lindsay - who has had a rocky few years - is starring in West End show Speed-The-Plow at the Playhouse Theatre in London, but had to pull out of a matinee performance on Wednesday because she was suffering from a gastric bug.
She tweeted: "So sorry everyone but too ill to perform and down for the count. Dr wants me to rest. Won't make shows 2nt but pls enjoy #speedtheplow XxL."
Although the boyband split in January, The Wanted's Tom has vowed to help LiLo through any tough times: "I chatted to her a couple of days ago because I saw a photo of her in a newspaper staggering out of a nightclub," he said.
"I wanted to check she was OK, so I asked her what she was doing."
Last week, Lindsay appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show and opened up about her time in jail.
She said being in solitary confinement for 14 days in 2010 was "terrifying" and explained why it was one of the worst experiences of her life.
Describing the experience, she said: "You leave your cell for one hour a day and you don't go outside - and I don't think anyone knows that.
The other girls in the other cells were in there for murder…"
Lindsay, who has had nine stints in rehab added: "I grew up in a very tumultuous family and acting is therapy for me.
"When I lost that outlet, it kind of just snapped and I didn't know what to do. People are usually going to uni or college at that time, but I didn't have that experience."
