The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting was "truly touched" to receive her very own star on Hollywood's famous Walk Of Fame!

Now a fully-fledged Hollywood A-lister, Kaley joins a whole host of famous faces on Hollywood Boulevard as she was honoured with her own star yesterday in LA (29 October).

Overwhelmed by the gesture, the pretty blonde - most known for playing Penny in the funny American sitcom - tried to fight back the tears as she thanked everyone for her star.

Despite telling her audience at the unveiling ceremony that she had already cried in the car on the way over, Kaley couldn't quite keep the tears at bay.

Getting emotional, she said: "I've been doing this my whole life, so it's really heartwarming to be recognised for something that has always been a part of me.

"[Acting] is like my arm. It's always been me. There's nothing else I've ever known and there's nothing else I've loved so much.

"It means the world. I feel completely honoured and completely blessed and truly touched. This is dream come true, it really is."

Aww, congrats!

Quick to let her followers know all about her exciting day, Kaley took to Instagram to show off her name on the famous catwalk of stars.

Taking a snap of her star to mark the occasion, the 28-year-old said: "Soooo... this happened today."

No biggie, right?!

As well as her Big Bang castmates, Kaley was supported at the ceremony by her husband of nearly one year, Ryan Sweeting.

Glad to have her other half alongside her, Kaley shared another photo of herself and Ryan, telling her followers she was pleased to be sharing the "amazing experience" with her "own star".

As if the day couldn't get any more special, Kaley then noticed her star was laid alongside that of John Ritter - her friend and co-star from her days playing Bridget Hennessy in 8 Simple Rules.

John played her onscreen dad, Paul Hennessey, in the show and tragically died from a heart condition in 2003.

In a touching tribute to her co-star, Kaley shared a photo of his Hollywood Walk Of Fame star along with a heartfelt message.

She said: "What a dream to have my [star] next to my sweet John Ritter. I think he's doing a little dance right now! I'm definitely being looked after."
