Speaking at the launch of his new Devil Dawg nutrition range last night, David talked about marriage saying he believes there is a future for him and Kelly.
The former Gladiator told the Daily Star: "I was engaged and would like to get married. I would like to think that there is a future for us.
"As far as I'm concerned I've done nothing wrong. Hopefully things can be normal..."
David, 28, added that his love for Kelly, 34, is stronger than ever, despite a very public split in September.
Kelly and David first got together in February and were engaged just a month later, but split suddenly after a seven month romance.
Following infidelity rumours, David denied cheating on Kelly but she still went ahead and announced their break-up on Twitter, before they had a furious spat on the site.
Kelly told fans at the time: "It's a sad day but I wanted to share with you that David and I are no longer engaged. I love and respect him and wish him all the best."
She also posted a list of missed calls from David on Twitter after announcing they had split. But in a heartfelt letter, David responded by saying he loved Kelly and would never cheat on her.
In the letter, David wrote: "I did not cheat on Kelly whatsoever. Kelly is my world and, other than my son, she's the only person I've ever truly cared about in my life."
But now, after rekindling their romance, David claims they both can't wait to walk up the aisle in Greek island Mykonos, the place they holidayed before their split.
We really hope the drama is all in the past for the pair, as they'll make an unbelievably beautiful man and wife that's for sure!
