X Factor finalist Fleur East has wowed Mel B with her vocals after the outspoken judge had previously accused her of cheating.

Last week, Simon Cowell was outraged when Mel questioned whether Fleur was actually singing during her rendition of Monie Love's 'It's A Shame'.

But, not letting Scary Spice's comments get to her, Fleur came back with a vengeance this weekend and had Mel offering a slice of humble pie after her performance of 'Lady Marmalade'.

Taking to the stage with a point to prove, Fleur didn't hold back as she sang, rapped and strutted her stuff on stage.

Proving she has the vocals and many other talents to take her far in the competition, Fleur impressed the entire judging panel with her performance - including Mel.

Speaking to Fleur after she had finished singing, Mel said: "Well... you just shut me right up, didn't you?! I loved it. I absolutely loved it."

Clearly pleased to have won over Mel, Fleur replied: "Thank you so much."

Mel's comments came after she previously questioned Fleur on whether she had been singing during her 80s-themed performance last week.

Fleur was left upset when Mel told her she couldn't hear her vocals when it came to the chorus of the song. Suggesting Fleur hadn't been singing in parts, Mel said she felt like the X Factor hopeful had been "cheating", as she could only hear the backing track.

Following her remarks, Simon hit back at Mel insisting Fleur had been singing the entire time.

Simon explained they had deliberately emphasised the backing track vocals during the chorus as Fleur was singing a different part over the top.

Angry with Mel for suggesting Fleur hadn't been playing by the book, Simon added: "You're making the audience think this girl is cheating and that's unfair. She's not cheating."

Meanwhile, Mel lost the first of her four acts over the weekend as Jake Quickenden was sent home by the judges.

Following his sing-off performance against Louis Walsh's group Only The Young, Jake was voted out of the competition as the judges felt the band had more potential.

Since his X Factor exit, Jake has thanked fans for their support and said he hopes to embark on a music and TV career.

Speaking to Reveal earlier today, Jake admitted he was open to other routes of stardom and even said he wouldn't mind doing a stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

Saying he'd do anything to get his name out there, Jake quipped: "I'd do anything! I'd go in the jungle... Give me a camel's testicle - I'll stick it in my mouth, I'm not bothered!"

Err... ok. How about it then, Ant and Dec?!
