On Sunday night, 26-year-old Jake was voted off the ITV talent show after failing to impress the judges in the sing-off against Only The Young.
Speaking to Reveal this morning (27 October), Jake says he now hopes to release his own music, and although singing will always remain his main passion, he's happy to venture down a few other routes too.
"I'm going to do my own music and hopefully get loads of gigs," Jake tells us. "I'll get bet back on my guitar, do an EP, get that released and then try to get signed.
"I'd love to get back into presenting and acting too. I'd do anything! I'd go in the jungle for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!. Give me a camel's testicle - I'll stick it in my mouth, I'm not bothered! I'd eat that stuff."
Rather you than us, Jake!
In fact, Jake tells us that he also wouldn't mind trying his hand as a presenter on The Xtra Factor.
"Singing is my passion and my hobby and I absolutely love it," Jake continues. "I'd love to just be on TV and do that, but singing will always be my love. I'd love to do Xtra Factor too. It's a great show and it's all about having fun."
For Jake, his X Factor journey has already been quite life-changing. Jake auditioned for the show in 2012, but didn't make it further than Judges' Houses. This year however, he made it to the live shows, and he still can't quite believe how far he's come.
He says: "At the end of the day, I'm just some guy from Scunthorpe who used to work in McDonald's and then was a brick layer who played a bit of football, and who's now living the dream."
