This Saturday, Pixie will take on the samba with her professional partner Trent Whiddon and, wanting to make sure she fully understands her upcoming dance, the singer has been busy researching...
At Sushi Samba restaurant in London. That totally counts, right?!
Cheeky Pixie joined her pals for a spot of sushi at the swanky eatery, claiming the purpose of her trip was important "research" for her next dance.
Captioning her photo, she said: "Last night researching my samba by eating samba rolls at @sushisamba."
Somehow we're not quite sure that's what Trent would have had in mind when he said practice, Pixie...
Still every little helps!
Over the summer, Pixie announced she was joining the Strictly line-up for this year's competition and since the show began, the 23-year-old has been impressing the judges with her fancy footwork.
Yet to step a foot wrong, Pixie has continuously bagged herself a high score from the panel for her effortless performances, and last weekend was no exception.
The 'Lay Me Down' singer took to the floor to dance the rumba and moved herself to tears after the emotional routine.
Judge Craig Revel Horwood said Pixie's performance was "exquisite" and that he "absolutely loved it", while head judge Len Goodman said it was "lovely".
Following her performance, many of Pixie's fans were left worried after seeing her teary-eyed, forcing the starlet to address why she looked so upset.
Insisting she was fine, Pixie tweeted: "I was focusing on acting Saturday night and I just wanted to get into character and tell the sad story, nothing to do with me, I'm fine...
"The story being, someone who has passed away and you get to have one last dance with them xx." Aww.
Saturday night's waterworks are not the first time Pixie has found herself getting emotional after acting. Last month, Pixie revealed she had burst into tears while filming the video for her new single 'Break Up Song'.
In the video, Pixie cast her real life boyfriend Oliver Cheshire to play her love interest and the couple acted out a heated split.
After really getting into character, Pixie admitted she ended up crying during one take as she believed their on-screen break-up was the real deal.
She said: "I burst my eyes out crying, I was so sad... I thought it was real!"
