The Essex-based man will collect a mighty £25,000 if the local Billericay girl is crowned the show's winner in December's final, meaning he could be one seriously happy customer.
Lauren, 17 is the youngest solo artist in the competition and currently the bookies' second favourite to win, just behind Italian singer Andrea Faustini.
As far as betting shop Ladbrokes is concerned, it puts her in a much better position than Lola Saunders, who is also in the girls' category and is currently the sixth favourite to win.
A Ladbrokes rep said: "It's becoming a real two horse race between Lauren and Andrea and, if the momentum continues for the Essex star, it won't be long before she's the favourite to win."
Things are only going up for Lauren, whose performance on last weekend's live show was described as "simply stunning" by her mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. Hard to impress Simon Cowell also added: "Hands down the best performance tonight."
Following this praise, Lauren was spotted out with fellow contestant Fleur East celebrating in the unusual way of getting new piercings!
Aside from the judges, Lauren has also received compliments from the likes of Tinie Tempah and Grammy-award winner Pharell Williams, following her rendition of his track 'Happy' in week one.
Hopefully this betting news will also be a confidence boost for mentor Cheryl, who admitted earlier this week that the fear of making the wrong decisions for her two remaining acts is giving her "sleepless nights".
But Lauren should have nothing to worry about after blowing away the judges and the public with all of her live performances so far.
No wonder the betting fan is so confident!
