X Factor finalists Lauren Platt and Fleur East celebrated getting through another week of the competition by visiting a piercing parlour.

During yesterday's results show, both Fleur and Lauren sailed through to the next round and, to mark the occasion, the pair were spotted getting celebratory piercings... as you do!

Taking some time out from their busy rehearsals schedule, a dressed down Fleur and Lauren visited a piercing parlour in London's Portabello Road.

Simon Cowell's protégé Fleur looked effortlessly cool as she teamed a vibrant pair of floral trousers with biker boots and a cool pair of shades, while Lauren opted for a pair of trackies with an open denim shirt.

Not fazed by their new piercings, the girls emerged with big smiles on their faces as they then headed to the studio to work on next weekend's performances.

So, what did they have done??

While Fleur opted for a double piercing inside the top of her earlobe, Lauren ventured for something a little more unusual - debuting a surface piercing on the side of her stomach.

The girl's celebratory body piercings come after they both successfully made it through to week two of the X Factor live shows.

On Saturday night (18 October) the finalists took to the stage to take on 80s classics and Lauren was praised by the judging panel for her rendition of Irene Cara's 'What A Feeling'.

Impressed with Lauren's vocals, Louis Walsh said to the 17-year-old: "Last week you were amazing, this week you were even better" while her mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini said she thought her performance was "simply stunning".

Meanwhile, Fleur was told she was "turning into an artist" by Simon after her performance of Monie Love's 'It's A Shame', but Mel B questioned whether the 26-year-old was actually singing at points.

Even though she thought it was a "great performance", Mel said she couldn't hear Fleur's voice when it came to the chorus.

Following Saturday night's show, both Lauren and Fleur were saved from elimination and Cheryl suffered a double blow, as both Chloe-Jasmine Whichello and Stephanie Nala were sent home.

Stephanie received the least public votes and was immediately eliminated, while Chloe failed to impress the judges in the sing off against boyband Stereo Kicks.
