Businessman James and solicitor Lauren apparently bonded within days of meeting and enjoyed a romance throughout most of Lord Alan Sugar's process.
Lord Sugar is never a fan of Apprentice flings, so no doubt he will be grumbling after hearing the latest reports!
A source told The Sun: "It didn't take [James] long to woo Lauren. They had a fairly full-on fling. They were always sneaking off." Oo-err...
Last year, Luisa Zissman reportedly kissed fellow candidate Jordan Poulton while filming The Apprentice.
Meanwhile, last week it was revealed that James Hill admitted two assaults during a court hearing in 2009.
The previous year, James reportedly tried to bite a man's ear off during a vicious assault on Christmas Eve. Prior to this, in an unrelated attack, James punched and kicked a male bus driver after he spoke to his girlfriend in a bar in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
James - full name Anthony James Hill - appeared in court in March 2009 and was handed an 18-month suspended jail term after pleading guilty to the attacks.
A spokesman for The Apprentice said: "It is a spent conviction under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore James was eligible to apply for the programme."
James' personal rep added that the Apprentice candidate "regrets his actions".
