After successfully making it through to a second week, Jake looked ready for another gruelling week of hard work as he was pictured leaving the X Factor house in north London with Jack Walton and Paul Akister.
Jake may have his eyes firmly on the competition but it seems this weekend he couldn't quite keep his eyes off judges Mel B and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini!
Taking to Twitter this morning, Jake said: "Morning... Can I just say how fit did Mel and Cheryl look last night? Top draw! Also buzzing to still be here."
On Saturday night (11 October), Jake - who is mentored by Mel - performed Robbie Williams' hit 'She's The One'.
Although the judges said Jake's voice needed some work, they praised his work ethic and handsome looks!
"Obviously you are a hit with the ladies," said Cheryl. "For me I would like to see a change to be a better singer, but I think you did a absolutely fantastic job."
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell said: "The girls will absolutely love you, but what you're missing in your voice at the moment is grit. You will have to work really hard on your vocals and I know that you work hard. You're a nice guy. You're popular and you'll be around for a few weeks."
Determined to make improvements, 26-year-old Jake told the judges: "I know I've got to work so hard on my voice. I just want to be on the stage and that's all I want to do. I'm so determined to stay in the competition."
The public were clearly on his side, as Jake's name was called out by Dermot O'Leary during Sunday night's results show. Two of Louis' groups, Blonde Electra and Overload Generation, were voted off the show last night.
The remaining 14 contestants will be performing next week for the show's 80s theme.
