Attending the Pride Of Britain Awards on Monday (6 October), Chloe made sure to turn heads in a glamorous orange gown, and one person whose eye she managed to catch was that of music mogul Simon.
Cuddling up to the 55-year-old in her latest Instagram snap, Chloe revealed the X Factor judge isn't as scary as he makes out...
Alongside her photo of the pair, Chloe said: "This was very exciting meeting the legend @SimonCowell [love] him!! Not scary in real life #gentleman #PrideOfBritain."
Don't tell him that Chloe, you'll ruin his rep!
In another photo shared from the event, which was held at the swanky Grosvenor House Hotel, Chloe is pictured with her cousin Joey Essex, a glamorous looking Danielle Lloyd and her TOWIE co-star Jasmin Walia, who actually auditioned in front of Simon on this year's X Factor.
Stepping in front of Simon, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Mel B and Louis Walsh, Jasmin sang her own rendition of Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be', but sadly didn't make it through to the next stage.
But proving there were no hard feelings between herself and the X Factor panel, Jasmin described Simon as her "buddy" as she came face-to-face with him again at the awards.
And luckily for Chloe, her pal even took the time to introduce her to Simon!
Both Chloe and Jasmin made a return to our TV screens last night (8 October) as TOWIE's 13th series kicked off on ITVBe.
Viewers saw Chloe come face-to-face with returning TOWIE star Mario Falcone, who claimed she had cut their friendship short since dating Elliott Wright.
As Mario confronted her, having previously dated the 26-year-old, Chloe said she still regarded him as a friend, but it was clear there was some tension between Ellliott and Mario.
It didn't take long for it all to be resolved though, as after a group lunch with Chloe's brother Charlie, the trio soon managed to settle their differences.
TOWIE continues on Sunday night at 10.15pm on ITVBe.
