Charlie, 17, Parisa, 20, Mikey, 19, and Betsy Blue, 18, impressed the judges from the very beginning with their vocals and chemistry.
Louis Walsh made their dreams come true by taking them through to the live shows after being impressed with their talents at the Judges' Houses stage of the competition, and they still can't quite believe it.
"It's so much to take in," they said. "Louis really made us think we were going home, so when he said the words 'you're through to lives', we collapsed on the floor crying. It's such a big opportunity and a big deal it won't hit us until we sing on the first week."
The four-piece have undergone a makeover ahead of their live debut and they say they now feel like a fully-fledged pop band!
"We're really excited about the makeovers," they continued. "You don't get professionals doing your hair and make up everyday and I think it will make us feel more like a pop band."
With the live shows kicking off this weekend, Only The Young will only have one performance to impress the judges, studio audience and viewers at home.
"I think we're most looking forward to showing people what we're about - bringing a twist to the show hopefully. We want to show both the show audience and the audience at home what Only The Young is all about."
Joining Only The Young in the groups category will be Blonde Electric and the new, yet to be named eight-piece boy band.
X Factor continues Saturday night on ITV1.
