The sassy 26-year-old pulled out all the stops for her Judges' Houses performance and mentor Simon Cowell has since said her audition in LA was a "revelation".
Now with a spot in the final 12, Fleur has undergone a star-worthy makeover to make her stage ready, but one thing she won't be letting the show's stylist get their hands on is her luscious locks!
Ahead of her X Factor makeover, Fleur said: "I hope they won't touch my hair! I came into the competition with my own style. Maybe they can redo the roots or something, another colour, we'll see."
Showing off her end results, Fleur and her bouncy bonce, although richer in colour, is still firmly in place!
With her style perfected, Fleur is looking forward to her first live performance after putting everything into her Judges' Houses audition.
She said: "I had to do something special [at Judges' Houses]. I knew I couldn't afford to be complacent. I knew I hadn't done enough up until this point. I'd had a few good comments, but I wasn't up there. I had to go in all guns blazing and that's what I did."
And whatever she did seemed to work as after watching her perform Jessie J's 'Bang Bang', Simon said it was a no-brainer that Fleur had to go through.
Reflecting back on the moment she was given a yes by the music mogul, Fleur said it has "been emotional".
She added: "I've had so many knock backs, I've been conditioned to be disappointed. When Simon said those words, 'I believe in you', it was amazing."
Fleur joins fellow overs Ben Haenow and Jay James as Simon's finalists.
