X Factor finalist Ben Haenow was a van driver before he impressed Simon Cowell with his vocals, but despite heading for singing success, Ben's not so sure he could completely give up his beloved van...

He joked: "I might buy one for leisure purposes!"

That might be a first!

Showing off his X Factor makeover, a dapper-looking Ben was feeling slightly apprehensive before being preened and pampered by the show's professionals as he's "never been styled before".

He said: "I've never had that before. I'm excited about it. I'm not sure I want highlights or blue ends but I'm definitely willing to have a bit of a trim."

Looking stage ready and raring to go, Ben said he "couldn't believe" he has made it through as a finalist. The 29-year-old from Croydon sailed through to the live shows after wowing Simon with his rendition of 'With A Little Help From My Friends'.

Setting his sights on the X Factor final, Ben revealed his dream duet partner, but his choice might prove a little tricky to make happen...

"All my heroes are dead, man!" he said. "If I could have a dead one it'd be Otis Reading. The guy has an amazing voice."

Hmm, we reckon he may have to think of a slightly easier one if his chance comes around!

Ben joins Simon's other two acts, Jay James and Fleur East, in the live shows.
