Chloe, 24, has been accused of being "posh" because of the way she speaks, however she has insisted to mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini she is just a "normal girl".
Speaking ahead of her first live performance this weekend, Chloe blasted: "I said to Cheryl, 'I'm just a normal girl' and it's really rude of people to think I'm not worth voting for just because of the way I speak.
"If I was from Essex, what would people say?"
Chloe and her jazz singing style means she is a slightly controversial contestant in this year's series, however Cheryl has admitted she is "fascinated" by her.
Even when Cheryl told her she was through to the lives, Chloe herself gasped: "Why?!"
Reflecting on Cheryl's decision, Chloe said: "It felt amazing, but at the same time I felt sad for the other girls.
"I knew that would happen obviously, but the reality is different. I feel a bit numb. I'm really, really grateful. I'm really shocked somebody could believe in me that much."
West Londoner Chloe, who also auditioned for The X Factor in 2006, said her ideal duet partner on the show would be Madonna.
Good luck with that, Chlo!
