The 20-year-old contestant has, however, explained that she is only planning on making her mentor emotional again at Judges' Houses for all the right reasons.
"I'm not going to lie, that would be great!" Lola said, ahead of this weekend's show. "For a good reason though, not a bad reason. It would be a real sense of achievement."
Unfortunately, the lass from Southshields faced a bum note during Boot Camp, when her performance of CeCe Peniston's 'Finally' didn't impress judges. Simon Cowell explained: "When you started to push your voice, you were almost screaming at us in the end."
But luckily, Cheryl showed that she still believes in Lola and put her through to the Judges' House round.
Lola compared her bubbly personality and singing abilities to fellow contestant Kerrianne Covell, who has also made it through to the next round.
She said: "I think Kerrianne and me are quite similar. We're both loud and we can both hit notes loudly. A couple of the girls think it's either me or Kerrianne, they don't think we'll both go through."
Either way, we bet she's hoping to go far, as her current job as a fishmonger is something she doesn't enjoy in the slightest:: "You smell of fish and you have to try and get the smell off you," she said.
"It's gross. Even if you really clean yourself down, it gets in your nose hair." Yuck!
Let's hope she has a good scrub before her trip to Nice, where she performed for Cheryl and Tinie Tempah in a hope to gain a place in the live shows!
