Heading to Mexico, Emma joined Mel and her boys as they auditioned for a place in the final three to reach the live shows.
But picking which three to take through wasn't an easy decision according to Emma. Speaking on Good Morning Britain earlier today, she said helping Mel decide between her six boys was "very, very tough".
We first spotted Mel soaking up some sun with Emma last month and it was then soon revealed that the pals' holiday was no coincidence, as Emma was confirmed as Mel's guest mentor on The X Factor.
Now back from her short-lived Mexican getaway (72 hours long to be precise!), Emma said it was "amazing" to be reunited with her bandmate.
"It was amazing to be with Mel, she's great fun" she said. "We had a little bit of tequila while we were there and it was really good."
Revealing what she thought of Mel's acts on the show, Emma said all the boys were "brilliant" and teased us all by letting on that Mel has got a "great group" heading into the live shows!
But who will be her top three?
Battling it out for one of those three spots are X Factor hopefuls Andrea Faustini, Jake Quickenden, Jordan Morris, Paul Akister, Danny Dearden and Jack Walton.
While Mel will pick the fate of the boys, Simon will decide between the Overs along with Sinitta in LA, Cheryl leans on Tinie Tempah for advice on her Girls in the South of France and Louis reunites with former X Factor judge Tulisa as they pick between the Groups in Bermuda.
In a new twist, each judge is rumoured to be picking a wildcard for one other judge and that person will then join the rest of their category in the live shows.
Eek! We can't wait - and hope the rumour is true!
