Raign, who was in Simon Cowell's Over 25s category, did land herself a 'seat' during the nail-biting stage of the competition, before it was whipped from beneath her and handed to Fleur East.
Simon had been seen in a quandary on screen, as he debated who to send packing, and Cheryl - who has never hidden her feelings for Raign - urged him to ditch her.
Viewers then saw Cheryl and Raign exchange frosty glances as she left the tense boot camp stage to head home.
Last week, Raign spoke out and said Cheryl was "entitled to her own opinion", however it seems her feelings may have changed since the latest episode aired.
Although she has said nothing personally about the Geordie star, Raign did retweet a fan who had blasted: "@SimonCowell I can't believe you binned @iamRAIGN because @CherylOfficial has a personal dislike of #Raign so wrong #growupcheryl."
Simon did not respond to the tweet.
Singer songwriter Raign, 31, got off on the wrong foot with Cheryl during her room audition, after she confessed it was Simon who she really wanted to impress.
As a result, Cheryl gave Raign a 'no' and made it clear to her fellow judges that she wasn't keen. Last night, as Simon mulled over who to send home to give Fleur a seat at boot camp, Cheryl urged in his ear: "Raign!"
The music mogul took her advice.
Earlier, Raign had told Simon: "I would like nothing more than to be mentored by people who's opinions I really respect." Turning to Mel B, Cheryl muttered: "See how that was a dig?" Mel replied: "Yeah, she doesn't respect us."
Simon's six Over 25s contestants who he will be taking to Judges' Houses this weekend are: Fleur, Helen Fulthorpe, Ben Haenow, Jay James, Stevi Ritchie and Lizzy Pattinson - sister of Twilight star Robert.
